2. Open a Word document to take notes into about your groups explorer.
3. We will be using two websites to collect information from:
Elizabethean Age - this website is good for the basic information; picture, birth & death dates, country of origin and ship names
Explorers A-Z - this website is good for the rest of the information you'll need; years of exploration, map of journey's, destination, what they were searching for and what they discovered
4. After you have taken notes on your explorer, put your information onto your groups wiki. If you need an example I have done Marco Polo for you. Pay specific attention to the "Changed the World by..." area, I want to see multiple things that the explorer changed or even helped to eventually change.
5. After wikis are completed, your group will learn about the other explorers through your classmates wikis. View each wiki and discuss with your group how you can change the world in a similar way as the explorer.
6. After you have learned about all the explorers, you post individually in the discussion board of each explorer. In all discussions post an idea for how you can change the world in a similar way to each explorer. When you post in the discussion board of your own wiki include what everyone did in your group.
7. You will be graded on your group wikis as well as on your individual posts and what you contributed to the group. The total amount of points possible are 65.
